Sagra del Gelato

La felicità? Una coppa di gelato a Massa Martana! La felicità sta nelle piccole cose, ci hanno sempre insegnato i saggi. Lo sanno benissimo anche a Massa Martana, un incantevole borgo medioevale dell'Umbria dove, dal 6 al 15 agosto, la Pro Loco organizza la Sagra del Gelato, perché dicono che è l'alimento che rende felici più di tutti gli altri. E mai come oggi lo possono affermare con certezza, grazie ai risultati di una ricerca condotta da due scienziati dell'Università di Amsterdam, che hanno ufficialmente decretato che la felicità sta, nientemeno, che in una bella coppa di gelato! Questi due ricercatori olandesi hanno provato scientificamente che quando gli italiani mangiano un gelato, il loro volto esprime per l'86% felicità. Il gelato batte in questa classifica perfino il cioccolato, universalmente considerato uno degli alimenti più appaganti; infatti, per il cibo degli dei il misuratore della felicità arriva "solo" ai 61 punti percentuali. Naturalmente, a Massa Martana hanno messo d'accordo i due contendenti con un delizioso gelato al cioccolato che, secondo gli organizzatori, rappresenta "un vero concentrato di felicità". Oltre a tante lussuriose coppe gelato alle creme e alla frutta. E tutto con buona pace della salute e della linea, considerato che una coppa di gelato, oltre ai già noti valori nutrizionali, si aggira intorno alle 100 calorie, che scendono addirittura a 75 per il gelato alla frutta. Quindi, tutti possono mettere da parte i sensi di colpa e godersi in piena beatitudine la felicità di un gelato a M. Martana.
